The Problem with Impeachment

Since November 2016 liberals and the media have been pushing a fantasy scenario where Donald Trump gets impeached. Their reasons don't matter, they have promised to impeach him no matter the cost or reason. Maxine Waters and other Democrats have suggested that impeachment isn't enough. Comedians and college professors have suggested Trump be assassinated, to the cheers of liberals across the country. All of this talk fires up the crazy progressives and fascist liberals and have ended up with massive displays of violence including riots and mass shootings.

What liberals and the enemies of Trump do not understand is that the battle is over. They think their opponent is Donald Trump but he is just the current champion of the "average American". The real winner of the 2016 election was the oft-forgotten citizen who was told they were irredeemable. Now we have moved onto the next battle for the soul of America.

Democrats and social justice warriors told middle-America that they should be ashamed of being successful. They should be ashamed of not being successful. They should be ashamed if they didn't "identify" as something other than cis-gender. Whites were told to be ashamed of their race. Blacks were told they should be violent against others and it was expected. Non-Americans were told they were more important than American citizens. Politicians, social justice warriors, and even the media have waged a decade's long war against the great oppressors, working class men and women.

Now a new war is being fought. Not the battle for who will win the support of the people, that fight is over. The war now is the elitists and social justice warriors trying to tell the rest of America that their choice is invalid. The fight now is to bring down Trump at all costs and invalidate the will of the people who elected him in favor of the elites in power.

Since the election was decided, Democrats and their allies have pushed the narrative that Trump didn't really win and even the election itself was invalid. News media even did interviews where people claimed that without a win in California, Trump's victory was meaningless. The fact that Clinton won California by such a huge margin has been used to justify claiming that she, and not Trump won the general election. This talk, while amusing, has translated into action.

We have seen security leaks of classified and confidential information out of the White House directed against President Trump since before he was even sworn in. Former Obama staffers have even said they urged others to leak the information. There has been a concerted effort to bring Donald Trump down even if it means breaking laws and hurting the country.  Even the director of the FBI admitted under oath that he leaked a memo about a confidential meeting with Donald Trump in an effort to force the appointment of his mentor as a special counsel, a successful tactic.

Now I'd like to get into the reason why these tactics are particularly dangerous to our country. Mike Huckabee once said that Trump was middle-America's final peaceful attempt at a revolution. By that, I believe he meant the corruption and dishonesty within our government had gotten so bad that the working class is ready to revolt in order to bring change. This means that if Donald Trump is stopped from making the attempt to change things by the existing power structure, his supporters may decide that they need to exert force to bring about reforms to "drain the swamp".

Take for instance the numerous polls which show that while people are generally dissatisfied with the job Trump has done, his still retains the support of those who elected him. Media elites and liberals point to this as proof of their "deplorable", uneducated, and ignorant state. The truth is that they still support him because he is attempting to follow through on his promises.

Compared to the crimes of Hillary Clinton, everything Trump has been accused of doesn't even rise to the level of "concerning". Clinton was given a free pass by the media and the Washington power structure for her many crimes against the nation. Barak Obama killed American citizens without due process based on a court case the Supreme Court later struck down and the elites never held him accountable for those murders, again a far cry from the worst that Trump has been accused. The Washington elites have set the bar so high on outrage that their attacks on Trump only shows their hypocrisy and further angers those who voted Trump into power. Should they use their positions to remove Trump, they would be telling the people of America that nothing short of violence will challenge the corruption and ineptitude in Washington.

While cries for equal justice are going unheeded, a recent poll shows support for an independent counsel to investigate Clinton has reached 75% support from Americans. Yet the establishment continues to excuse and cover up for her. A close deputy of Clinton, Wasserman-Shultz recently took a page from Clinton's book involving her own legal controversy and blamed a "right-wing conspiracy" against her. All of this is seen as normal and perfectly acceptable to the media and the sycophants who uphold the status quo. America was founded on the principles of Equal Justice, something denied today.

Until those in power are held to the same legal standards as the rest of America, a power vacuum will exist that endangers the health and stability of our nation. The symptoms of this disease is the corruption and dysfunction we see in Washington. While the solutions are legion, the simple first step that is embodied in Trump are important to the American people. By trying to remove this hope for a better and functional nation, the elites run the danger of triggering a "French Revolution" style uprising.

While extremists exist on both sides of the political aisle, it is those allied with the Democrats who have been violent over the last few years. America has sat back and watched the slide of the Democratic Party into classic Fascism much to the acclaim and urging of the media, liberal professors, and politicians. The very definition of Fascism is attacked and changed instead of recognizing what has happened. With the rise of Fascism in this country, those who oppose them are demonized, marginalized, and patronized. These targeted individuals also happen to be those who support Trump.

The backlash has been building against the Fascist actions of the fringe as well as the dysfunction and corruption in Washington. While violence by the fringe has been encouraged and laws set aside to appease a minority, the majority of Americans have been quietly seething, their rage building. The Impeachment of Trump while letting those opposed to him disregard the law would be a clarion bell to those in the heartland that the system is truly broken. All that is left is either surrender or rebellion. Given the anger observed over the last several years at the atrocities committed by the elite, an explosive rebellion seems the likely outcome.
